The Indian Hospitality Industry’s vision post the COVID 19 crisis should be on to create a unique experience for individuals travelling to and within this beautiful country. It is an obligation, as this juncture, for individuals/ entrepreneurs engaged in the Hospitality and Tourism industry to showcase India’s myriad and captivatingly numerous colours in a spotlight where every shade shine. Traveling to or within India must be an exhilarating experience rather than just arranging visits to the tourist attractions and destinations.

The Indian Hospitality industry should intend to invest capital, time, and efforts in building traveling experiences for tourists with exemplary and affordable lodging, activities curated for all age groups including children and the elderly, and above all meals with best of the hygiene standards. It should be their goal to preserve the art and culture of different regions of India, which will increase tourism potential, help revive the hospitality and allied industries.

To attain this goal, the Hospitality industry should be willing to work day and night and propose extraordinary plans to promote different verticals across India by popularizing them in the tourist circuit domain, thereby offering a quintessential and unique Indian experience to the travellers in the coming months.

In addition to that, the Hospitality industry should focus upon widening the Wellness, MICE, Business, Adventure, Culinary, Cultural, Spiritual, Eco, Fashion, Film, Rural and Medical tourism market by working on offering the best of the customised packages and world-class facilities across all spectrums.

It should be the goal of every individual and establishment engaged in the Hospitality sector to focus upon rebuilding the image of the country so that it should be considered as a respectful and reliable nation by both domestic and international tourists.

The industry should assure the travellers that the country is ready and will provide a sustainable experience to every individual and guest in an honest and transparent way. The world needs sustainability now more than ever and the Indian hospitality industry must incorporate it in and promote it through tourism. The industry’s focus should be on offering a safer and hospitable accommodation, cleaner environment, which could be augmented with a wider range of tours and packages including services and products.

Thank you.
